I found some instructions for installing nRF_CONNECT_SDK and associated toolchain here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/getting_started/installing.html

I found this because the nRF_CONNECT_FOR_DESKTOP is not available for Ubuntu ARM64; (I have opened a separate ticket on this issue).  I was desperate to find a workaround and was thrilled when I found this webpage.

I spent quit a bit of time following the instructions at the above URL before realizing it was installing X86_64 binaries.  Apparently this procedure only supports X86 architecture.  I wonder if it would be to much to ask if you would just put everyone on notice that you don't support ARM64 architecture. If you had done this simple thing I would not have wasted countless hours trying to get your software up and running.

I feel as though I have been betrayed, mislead, and abandoned.

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience installing the SDK.

All of that is fine if I had known about it; I don’t recall seeing anything like that.  All I saw was that you supported Linux.  Then I found out its only Ubuntu, then I found out it is only X86.  I cannot imagine a good reason for not supporting ARM64 so I just assumed you did so.  It was only after I had wasted a considerable amount of time did I realize you didn’t.
