NRF52840 dongle and BLE_BAS when powered with a lithium 3v battery

Hi, 

I'm using a dongle 52840 powered with a battery. I need to add the battery level to advertising message. I found the way to add proprietary info to advertising but...

I would like to know if the NRF52840 dongle provide a way to get battery voltage without modification? From quick look to schematics, I would say no but can you please confirm?

If not can I just link connect the V+ of my battery to an ain without additional component?

Hi,

The SAADC can sample the VDD input pin directly. The Proximity Application demonstrates how the SAADC can be configured for this.
