nRF Connect SDK, nrf52840, and isochronous (iso) support

I've seen a few seemingly conflicting forum posts regarding iso channel support on the nRF52840.  Can someone confirm that the nRF52 series does not and/or will not ever support iso channels?  FWIW: the current iso examples in the zephyr repository do not build against the nRF52840dk target.  I do not need audio, but am looking to use iso channels for a different application.

HI Kevin,

The nRF52840 does not support Isochronous channel as of now. However, I cannot comment on if it will be added later on, so you will need to check with your Regional Sales Manager for future plans.
