Use SD card with capacity of more than 4 GB

Hi, 

In one of our projects , we need are using nRF52840 MCU and SDK 17.1.0. 

We are using SD card in our project to store some data. 

We can see that with nRF52840, SD card capacity that can be used is up to 4 GB. 

Is it by anyway possible to use 8 GB or higher capacity SD cards with nRF52840 or any other BLE MCU of Nordic ?

The FAT file system doesn't support more than 4 GB due to the 32 bit address range, so using larger SD cards isn't possible.
