nRF52820-CFAA DEC5 Pin

I am working on a nRF52820-CFAA (WLCSP) project and I am a bit confused about the DEC5 pin (F1). The reference layout says for the 820p decoupling cap "Not required for Dxx and later".

When I look at the revisions table here: infocenter.nordicsemi.com/.../nrf52820_ic_revision_overview.html it looks like this package was never available before revision Dxx. So why is the DEC5 pin even there? Can I safely say I don't need to connect DEC5 whatever revision of the WLCSP I will use?

Hi,

Yes that's right. Or in other words, if it's the revision 3 of the chip, then since DEC5 is internally disconnected, the capacitor is not required.
