nrf9160 BOR reset

Hi,

we have developed nrf9160 custom board in that i we are facing one strange issue.

The issue is nrf9160 is doing BOR rest when we put in a plastic ABS case  and we are using 4-AA Size batteries which have 3.6v and 2500mah capacity for each battery.

the rest is happening when only nrf9160 is in plastic case fully closed. when its outside of the plastic case and didn't closed top plastic lid its working fine.

nrf9160 not restting when nrf9160 put in case like this  but when i close the top its continuous giving BOR Reset and the antenna was stick to the top closing lid.

is any interference happening with antenna and battery?

LI-SOCL2 batteries can't be used with the nRF9160 as that are not able to deliver the needed current.

So that confirms the second possibility in the first answer You could have found this very easily by scoping the VDD lines.

Thanks for the clarification,

In our case as i mention earlier when i given power through USB the nrf9160 was not resetting. The USB is connected to the  LDR- "TPS7A023" which will give 250mAh current constant.
