Debug working for SDK 0.9.0 but not 0.9.2

Hello,

I am debugging through UART with nrf52 and s132 softdevice using Keil V5 for the proximity app. When I flash the example app from the 9.2 SDK and look at the debug messages through putty. I see:

However, when I follow the same procedure and flash the example app from the 9.0 SDK, I get: .

What could be causing this?

Hello, this appears to be a bug in the retarget.c. I'll report this internally.

Quick fix for now, open retarget.c and locate the fputc() function, and replace it with this one :

int fputc(int ch, FILE * p_file)
{
    UNUSED_PARAMETER(p_file);
    uint32_t err_code;
    do
    {
         err_code = app_uart_put((uint8_t)ch);
    }
    while(err_code);

    return ch;
}
