wifi_nrf_hal_fw_chk_boot: Boot_sig check failed for RPU(0), Expected: 0x5A5A5A5A, Actual: 0x88888888

Hi, I'm working on the 7002DK and have been getting this error. I tried resetting and recovering the board but it is always getting this. I am sure it's not a software problem because I was running my code normally before the error started happening. It seems other people have experienced this problem too, please let me know if anyone has encountered and (hopefully) resolved this problem! Any help would be appreciated!

Hi

I think you haven't enabled the read/write access for the OTP memory locations in your nRF7002, please follow the OTP memory programming section of our Device Commissioning and Characterization application note available here to write a MAC address and set the OTP memory to protected state afterwards before usage.

Hey Simonr, interesting, you could be right... When I was testing before, I had a part of my code to manually set the MAC address, but now I don't think I'm doing it. I will give it a shot. Thanks!
