Hello,
I am new to Nordic parts.
I recently purchased a new nRF52 DK.
Looking in section 4.3 Power Supply of the User's Guide it states that there are three ways to power the board - "The nRF52 DK has three power options: USB (5 V), external power supply (1.7 V to 3.6 V), and coin cell battery".
I am attempting to power it with a USB cable from J2 to my computer. See images below:
I do not see any signs that the board is powered (i.e. no LEDs on, nothing). On my computer I do not see any COM board signifying that there is a connection between the board and computer.
I am trying this directly out of the box brand new. What am I missing? Is this just a bad board? A jumper/switch I am missing?
