Hi, while working with the nRF9160DK i get this Error a lot of times, I can't say "Yes" or something else and have to wait until the progress bar fills completely. Even if I disconnect the DK.
It really takes some time on a workday because this happens a lot. I hope there is a fix,

Thank you for the detailed information.
I have been discussing this issue with both the vscode and the nrf connect for desktop team, and we are able to reproduce this on a macbook air m2, with external USB hub. Are you by any chance using a external USB hub?
What we have noticed with some USB hubs (or docking stations) is that a reboot of the system is required for certain functionality to function properly again, and once booted up; power cycle the nRF9160-DK.

Thank you for your Investigation. No im not using a Hub. Yes it works after I disconnect and reconnect the cable. This precess adds some Time because you also have to eject the device on Mac.. so i hoped there is some better Way to optimise my workflow.

You might have already tried this, but I'll mention it anyway.
Have you tried using a different USB cable, and/or possibly a different USB port?
I know this is likely not the root cause, but it would be good to rule out a possibly bad usb cable.
