step increase in supply voltage may result in a system reset.

Hi Team

There is below statement in the spec of nRF52832. Customer want to know if there is only a spike in their VDD,Is there still a risk of this problem occurring?

The amplitude of spike is over 300mV, but the width is very narrow (<2ms).

  • Hi

Can you provide some details on this spike exactly? How large is it, and is it an upwards spike or a downwards drop in voltage? The 300mV stated in the PS is very conservative and 300mV isn't likely to happen in normal operating condition, but is more likely to occur at extreme temperatures and supply voltages, but the POR can happen, also during operation, so my last reply wasn't entirely correct, sorry about that.

    Best regards,

    Simon
