DFU not working with Redmi phones

I am raising the issue here, since the GIthub tracker for Android DFU library does not seem to get any attention.
Redmi phones can't perform DFU since library version 1.11.1, from 2 years ago.

2 years ago, we had the issue when updating to >= 1.11.1, then rollbacked (fixed the issue), and this summer we had to update again (because 1.11.0 is not published anymore) and it broke again for all Redmi customers (as I was expecting).

Could someone look into it ?

This has been reported to the R&D team and they mentioned it should be related to the scan filters. We have someone looking into it.

Well, yes, this has the been the known and acknowledged status for the last two and a half years : offloaded filters added in 1.11.1 break for all Redmi phones, and also for some others models (Xiaomi, Oppo, Samsung, ...)

I have now cloned and fixed on my end (bypassing offloaded filters), and it fixed the issue for our Redmi and others customers.

I think being able to perform DFU in background is not worth having 20% of customers not being able to perform DFU *at all*.
