nRF Connect Toolchain version mismatch with SDK in VS code

hi team,

Recently I upated nRF connect SDK version from 2.4.0 to 2.4.2 in the toolchain manager and did click "update toolchain" and "update SDK".

When I open VS code, the version of nRF connect SDK and toolchain is being different and i could not find the new toolchain path. However, the application can build and flash as usual into the my device (nRF 52840 dk).

i am using : Toolchain manager v1.2.5

                   nRF connect SDK v2.4.2

                   VS code v1.81.1

                  Mac OS

how can i solve it? Thank you.

This issue seems to be reported before and the internal team is looking into this. This happens with latest update. I will get back to you when I hear from the internal team.
