Multi-cell position coordinates meaning

Hello,

I am interested in understanding the concept of multi-cell longitude and latitude. My question is whether these coordinates represent the location of the specific cell tower to which a device is connected but with reduced uncertainty, or do they represent the approximate center point between multiple cell towers with a specified level of uncertainty?

It gives the approximate location of a device based on the neighboring cell and its nearby cells. I didn't find exactly that info in the links you provide I red them before many times.
