hi
We are going to inspect a PCB using nRF52832 using the inspection equipment configured as shown below.
- Mass-produced PCBs and inspection equipment are each set to a minimum output of -40dBm.
- To check the BLE output and reception sensitivity of the PCB to be inspected, set the minimum output to -40dBm and use 40dB for antennuation.
* PCB transmission measurement to be inspected: PCB to be inspected -40dBm output --------------------> Inspection equipment (Antenna -> attenuation 40dB -> nRF52 DK) RSSI to SW Check measurements
* Receiving measurements on the PCB to be inspected: Inspection equipment (nRF52 DK -40dBm transmit -> attenuation 40dB -> Antenna) ------------------> Check RSSI measurements on the PCB to be inspected
Q1) Are there any problems or needs to be supplemented with the above test configuration?
Q2) Do I need to inspect both transmission and reception of the PCB to be inspected? Can I just send or receive?
Q3) The BLE output is -40dBm and antennuation of 40dBm is used in the middle of the antenna... What is the output power based on the actual antenna?
thank
