Matter Door Lock Example: Not showing access code management in Apple Home app

I am using the Matter Door lock example from nRF connect SDK with nRF52840. I am able to commission the device and control it with the Apple Home App. However I am not able to find settings in the Apple Home App to Set up an access code as it is mentioned in the following link that the user can manage an access code from Apple home app and I can also see in Nordic Matter door lock example, the firmware support is also there to setup access code.

Can you please tell me what could be the reason?

In the Home app you can set up an access code for people who need temporary access to your home.

  1. Open the Home app on your iPhone.
  2. On the Home tab, touch and hold the lock, tap Accessory Settings, tap Manage Access, then tap Add Guest.
  3. Give the guest a name—Dog Walker, for example—then turn on the locks you want them to have access to.
  4. Tap Change Access Code, enter an access code, then tap Done.
  5. Touch and hold the access code, tap Share, choose a sharing option, then share the access code with the guest.

You can return to this screen to change the access code, turn off access to some or all of the locks, or remove the guest.

Support is there. Please at least check the source code before making any comments. I always get the same response from Nordic and you guys do not do any research before sharing answers with users. This is my experience with the Nordic support team with all my support tickets so far.
    1. Please reach out to your local RSM if you have any complaints
    2. In order to provide support we need to ask questions to narrow down what can be the issue. Customers have different setups which causes different issues and among them are SDK related issues or that features are supported in one version of the SDK but not the other. Good communication is key :)

Updating my iPhone iOS to 17, resolved this issue and I can manage access codes now with same example.

Glad to hear that it was a simple issue that were resolved easily from your end by updating your device.

    Kind regards,
    Andreas
