Is there response from peripheral_uart after central_uart write rx characteristic

Dear Support Team

We are testing central_uart  sample with peripheral_uart sample in NCS v2.4.0. We would like to know that whether there is response from peripheral_uart after central_uart write rx characteristic by default. How to configure central_uart sample supports or not support write response. And is there a callback for the write characteristic response in the central_uart sample？Many thanks.

Hi 

In the central_uart sample the ble_data_sent(..) and ble_data_received(..) functions are used to notify you when data is sent and received respectively. 

The peripheral_uart sample uses the bt_receive_cb(..) function to notify you of incoming data. 

There is no callback defined for notifying you when data is sent, but you can add this by setting up the .sent callback in the nus_cb struct here. 

The sent function needs to follow the prototype below to be compatible:

void (*sent)(struct bt_conn *conn);
