Issue for ¨Create a new application¨ from ¨nRF Connect for VS Code¨

The new application is created in the indicated folder but is not added to the Application View in VSCode.

An error is showed in OUTPUT panel.

Hi 

The VSCode extension will try to create a local Git repository when you create a new application, and if you haven't configured your email and name through Git this will fail. 

We are planning to modify this behavior in a future update so that the repository creation will simply be skipped if you haven't configured Git locally, but this update has not been released yet. 

Until this release is out could you try to configure your local Git email and name as instructed by the error message? 
You don't need a registered account anywhere to configure this, and you can just use dummy values if you want.
