Devices are not detected in Visual Studio

I have the problem that connected devices are not detected in Visual Studio.

The Problem seems to be that nrfutil-device does not work in Visual Studio or nrfConnect environment.

Under Windows ist is working.

What can I do to get it working under Visual Studio?

What do you mean with relauch? I restarted VS after changing

    Yeah, that's what I meant

The message is: nrfutil-device.exe failed with unexpected code Some (-1073741511).

Could you update and/or reinstall JLink Segger as done in  nRF Connect for Desktop cannot detect nRF5340 DK ?

I'm assuming that you've been able to see the devices at a prior stage, but just to be sure can you

    • Verify that all prerequisites are met from the installation guide, i.e all tools are installed: developer.nordicsemi.com/.../recommended_versions.html
    • If the prior point is done, can you also open command palette and generate support information and post the output here?

    • Have you been able to observe the devices at earlier?

    Kind regards,
    Andreas

  • Hello,

I have again reinstalled Segger J Link no change not with nrfutil-device and not with nrfjprog.

The prerequisites should all be fulfilled.

This is the Output of the support informations

Outside VS I can connect and programm the devices. Also under nrf Connect I can programm the devices.

But this is not nice to do the programmin allway outside VS. In VS I have never seen the devices.

    Kind Regards

    Clemens

I would also like to know the versions of jLink, nrfutil and nrfjprog. Could you provide me with this?

This is not the entire output, could you please copy and paste it in a code snippet or .txt attachment? :)

    Kind regards,
    Andreas
