NRF52832 has a higher current when the advertising is closed than when it is opened.

When I burned the firmware of nRF52810 into nRF52832, I found that when I closed advertising, the current measured with PPK2 was much higher than when I opened it (as shown in the figure below), but nRF52810 did not have this problem (same firmware and project).

May I ask if anyone knows the reason?

Device - nRF52832
SDK - Application：nRF SDK 15.2.0
Softdevice - s112_nrf52_6.1.0_softdevice

I have now discovered that this problem is due to a 1s repeated timer that did not turn off after turning off advertising, but why does this affect the current? There is no such problem when enabling advertising.

Hi,

It seems like you are doing something while not advertising, which you are not doing when advertising, and this causes a higher current consumption. I am not able to say what based on this, though. Can you share your code or explain what else is different when your application is not advertising compared to when it is?
