NRF52840 Antenna

Hi, there is a place I don't understand about the antennas related to the nrf52 boards, according to the circuit diagram provided on nordic's website, the antenna is connected to the ANT pin along with the indicators, but the board with the nrf52840, like the BT840, is also connected to the antenna GND, which is correct, what is the difference between the two?

Yes, that is the correct place to connect an antenna.

Depending on the antenna, you would likely need to add a matching network between that point and the antenna itself. The schematic of the nRF52840 DK, found in the downloadable hardware files here, shows you how it is done on the development kit.
