Does the PMIC nPM1300 support Fuel Gauge feature for MCUs outside the nRF SoC family?

I have saw nPM1300 product brief, they said in the key features, the "Accurate fuel gauge with nRF host SoC". Is it possible to use the fuel gauge feature with other SoC like generic PMIC that provide the state of charge(SOC) via state of charge register over I2C communication?

No, the nRF Fuel Gauge library is meant to be used with Nordic PMICs,

My previous answer is incorrect. Actually we do support running our fuel gauge algorithm on non-Nordic SoCs. A good starting point is our fuel gauge sample (nPM1300: Fuel gauge — nRF Connect SDK 2.5.99 documentation (nordicsemi.com) and build it for your chosen board. So far we support any M4 or M33 based devices.
