VS code having an error "fatal: not a valid object name head" while calling a project

I'm building up an example on VS code. some of the sample happens to come out with an error "fatal: not a valid object name head" what does that mean?

2. What version of the SDK are you using?
3. Which device are you building with?
4. What sample are you using that results into this error?

i solved it with reinstall new sdk 2.5.0, now sample are all available thanks
