nRF5340 audio dk and Zephy's observe example

Hello,

I have been experimenting with the Zephy's observe example w/ the nRF5340 Audio DK and it works with building it with the prjconf. However, when selecting to build with the prj_extended.conf, I get the following:

*** Booting Zephyr OS build v3.3.99-ncs1-1 ***
Starting Observer Demo
Registered scan callbacks
Start scanning failed (err -5)
Exiting main thread.

Also, noticed that there have been some dialog regarding this issue: and I have tried the suggestions without sucess:

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../nrf5340-audio-development-kit-not-discoverable-using-zephyr-bluetooth-observer-sample.

Not sure what could be the problem.

P.S. I have sent my project for review. Furthermore, in VS when creating the build only item changed was Configuration, which was set to prj_extended.conf.observer_Audio_IN100_nRF5340_Audiodk.zip

All- To fix my issue I had to rename remove the "underscore" from the prj_extended..not sure why? However, in any case it works as expected.

Good to see that you were able to find a solution as well!
The documentation I linked in my other reply may shed some light on how the naming of configuration files affects which files are chosen when building.
