I encountered a similar issue as described in this forum post, but no solution was provided.
The problem is that the USB interface MCU, which includes an integrated J-Link, is not recognized by macOS Sonoma 14.1 (apple silicon). Additionally, LED5 is blinking.
- What board revision is the customer using?

- Can you please provide the list of steps the customer has done?
I aborted the "west flash" step:[ #################### ] 13.911s | Erase file - Done erasing ^C############# ] 0.114s | Programming image - block 2 of 2
- Did the board show on the computer before?
Yes - Can the customer find the board in Device Manager?
No - Please ensure that both USB cable and the USB connector are in good condition.
Yes - Please ensure that SW5 is set to nRF9160.
Yes - Has the customer done anything physical to the board itself?
No
Can the device be successfully unbricked?
