nRF9160 ESIM Call Box

Hi,

Currently I have a this modem which can connect to R&S CMW500. I have a sim card provided by the lab which helps the modem to connect to this particular network. I am now trying to connect the modem to the same callbox but with an esim. I am not sure how I'd be even able to configure the security key or even change properties of the sim card (if required). Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to make sure that the eSIM also supports the test commands. 

There is some FAQ on the R&S website on this and it does say "If the DUT does not allow the use of a test SIM Card, an alternative is to request the manufacturer to activate the TS.48 Generic eUICC Test Profile for Device Testing." 

So check with your provider to so if it is supported on the eSIM that you are using.
