QDID for Bluetooth stack when using Zephyr vanilla

Hello,

I have a project running on an nRF52832 that uses Zephyr vanilla (official from Zephyr project's github) in version 3.4. We might update to 3.5 so we are also interested in it.

Can you tell me the QDID of the Bluetooth stack integrated in Zephyr 3.4 and 3.5 ?

I have only found this matrix that only talks about NCS and not Zephyr vanilla.

You can find the QDID of the Zephyr controller on this page. However, the QQID for Zephyr 3.4 and 3.5 is not ready.

I am also interested in this same subject.  Do you know anything about QDID 194918?

I found it searching on the Bluetooth SIG site.  It seems to be the latest declaration completed for Zephyr, and is based on NCS 2.1.0. (which is still not the latest, but it is much closer).  This QDID seems to apply to all nRF52 series of SOCs as long as you don't need the continuous tone extension (CTE) feature.

Is this better to reference this declaration?  We are wanting to declare a new project as well that is based on all the latest. Zephyr 3.5 and NCS 2.5.0.

QDID 194918 is for the nRF52833 and is only valid for nRF Connect SDK 2.1, it is not valid for vanilla Zephyr as such as it is for the specific tag of Zephyr used in the nRF Connect SDK 2.1.0.

For QDIDs for Vanilla Zephyr you will have to go to the Zephyr Project, Nordic qualifies only the specific versions used in nRF Connect SDK. The host is qualified for each nRF Connect SDK tag while for the controller side the SoftDevice is qualified, the last time the Zephyr controller was qualified was the QDID 194918 version.

I am no expert in this area, but I did receive some information that was helpful to me over email regarding my questions.  I am just going to relay that here in case it is helpful to anyone else.

According to this page (https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/protocols/bt/ble/index.html) there are 2 Bluetooth LE Controller implementations.  If you use the Zephyr Bluetooth LE Controller, then you need to use the Zephyr QDID.  If you use the SoftDevice Controller, provided in the SDK, then you use the corresponding QDIDs in the table on the compatibility matrix, like this one for the nRF52840: (https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcomp_matrix_nrf52840%2FCOMP%2Fnrf52840%2Fnrf52840_ble_qdid_qual_matrix.html&cp=5_0_3_4)

So for us, we are using Zephyr 3.4.99 OS, with SDK 2.5.0 and we are using the SoftDevice Controller on a nRF52840, so we will declare with Bluetooth SIG using QDID 214837 (Host) and QDID 214713 (Controller).
