OTA flashing of "ble-sniffer_nRF51822_1.0.1_1111_Sniffer.hex"

Dear Sirs,

I buyed recently a Bluefruit LE Friend based on chip nrf51822. I triyed to get working with the ble-sniffer without success.

I don't have programming interfaces and I would like to flash the firmare OTA. I tried to use the Android nRF Toolbox for flashing but is missing an "init.dat" file.

Can help someone to get working the my Bluefruit LE Friend dongle with ble-sniffer (ev. flashing over OTA the firmware)?

Sorry, that is not possible. The sniffer firmware is not using the softdevice, it is talking to the radio directly, which means that it is running from flash at region 0 where the softdevice usually resides. The DFU bootloader used for OTA updates is using the softdevice to set up the connection, and it gives you the possibility to replace the application code that is running on top of the softdevice.
