Sometime in the past year, the connected device icons no longer appear in the gutter to the right of the terminal screen---it's a blank where the icon use to be. Although one can set a new icon for the connected device terminal, it doesn't persist. Clicking on the blank area displays the the connected device's terminal correctly.
One must manually use the "Change Icon..." feature (right mouse click) to put an icon there, else it's confusing to figure out which port on which device one is looking at.
The Connected Devices' terminals themselves are OK, terminals are correctly made, and the Connected Devices drop down on the left side of the screen display correctly---it's just the missing icon on the right side that's annoying.
Other colleagues have noticed this issue as well.
Executing View: Reset View Locations has no effect.
Versions: MacOS 14.1.2, nRF Connect for VS Code Extension Pack v2023.11.3
