Establish connections in parallel

On the central side, is it possible to establish connections in parallel?

Shouldn't it be possible to start scanning and initiating connections as soon as one connection is "in-sync" with the peripheral? The secure pairing handshake and discovery should be able to proceed in parallel with scanning and initiating new connections. This can be quite important when using a long connection interval.

If this it not currently supported in ncs, will you consider adding this support in one of the next releases?

Hi,

Yes, multiple connections are supported as a central (as well as a peripheral). There is no need to wait for any specific activity on one connection before starting scanning again and establishing a new connection. You can see a simple example of multiple connections in the Central multilink sample.
