UART/Serial Port Emulation over BLE

Hi,

I'm using nRF dev kit with Softdevice 1.0.0.3.alpha. The device shows advertising state at LED1 as it should, however i can't detect "Nordic_UART" via nRF Master Control Panel. I have the same issue when using nRF UART v2.0. Finally I tried it with nRF Toolbox and there the dev kit is detected, but I can't connect due to the error "The device does not have required services". In addition I tried the heart rate example which works well. I'm using Nexus 5 with Android 6.0.

Can you please help me with this?

Hi.

The problem could be that android has cached info about your device. When you change the device firmware, the phone gets confused.

Try to delete the device from saved devices in the bluetooth settings, or try the solution described here.
