where should I modify m_boot_settings to get DFU working

my issue is that when I use the bootloader to get DFU working it advertise DfuTarg and doenst show my services. I searched for hours, I found many answers and none worked for me

in this answer they talked about modifying m_boot_settings. what I didnt understand is where to modify this? is it in my personal progarm or in bootloader progam, and is there a bootloader program used to generated the bootloaderhex
