case about nRF9160 opus lib build command

1. The customer needs to use opus-1.4 library on nRF9160
2. Please tell me the instructions for compiling opus-1.4 into the lib library
3. It would be better if there was a ready-made opus-1.4 lib library available

The opus library in this example is opus-1.2.1

Hi Peter,

The External Library sample demonstrates how you can link in a library file if you want to see how you can include the latest Opus library in your application. I'm not sure what the use case for this is, but if you are looking to do voice command reckognizition, then our Edge Impulse may be an alternative to consider (Edge Impulse: Wrapper).

1.The customer needs to use the library on nRF9160, so this source code(opus-1.4.tar.gz) needs to be compiled.

2.The customer has already verified the library opus-1.2.0 on nRF9160 and only needs to update the library file to opus-1.4.0.

3.You did not provide any useful information in your previous reply.

4.It is ok that you can provide compilation instructions or completed libraries.

5.I am trying to compile errors here, if you can fix this error, that is also very good.

Hi Peter,

Did they use the Opus library distributed with the Smart remote project, or did they manage to build v1.2.0 from source? From the screenshot you posted, it appears that the Opus library is being built for the host PC rather than cross-compiling it for the Cortex M33 target.

We do not have a pre-compiled version of opus-1.4.0

1. Instead of using opus-1.2 from the Smart remote project, the customer is using a library file compiled into opus_lib_nrf52.a

2.The customer's current project is running on ncs v2.4.0, and you can provide the opus-1.4 project used on ncs v2.4.0.

We do not have any builds of the Opus library newer than the one included in the Smart Remote project. This is why I was asking if the customer built the opus-1.2.0 library themselves or got it from somewhere else.
