advertising custom service - ble_advertising_init err_code 0x7

Hello!

I'm trying to advertise my custom service. After setting everything up, when calling ble_advertising_init I receive error 0x7.

This can be fixed by calling services_init() before advertising_init() in main.c(). Goes along with what Eric says in his answer but sd_ble_uuid_vs_add() is called in services_init() and needs to be called before ble_advertising_init(&advdata, &scanrsp, ...)

This fixed the same error for me.

I was using the ble_app_template example, (from SDK 12.1) and it sets up the services etc like this

gap_params_init();
advertising_init();
services_init();
conn_params_init();

So perhaps that example needs to be fixed so that the calls are in the correct order

This fixed the error for me too when merging some functionality from the NUS example into code based on the HIDS example (SDK 12.2)

And for me. Tried to send UUID in Scan response allways got 0x07. Just changed the location in the ble_app_template (SDK12.2) and it works now. Also recommend the change in the template.
