For subscribing topic, the message content can be string or hex bytes.

 

How about publishing message? It seems only supporting string format. Any way to use hex bytes?

Hi Jeff,

The developers have confirmed, that to send something other than a string you have to use the SLM Data Mode.

In data mode the data is send to network as is. In this case data mode is activated by empty message

AT#XMQTTPUB=<topic>,"",<qos>,<retain>

and deactivated by +++.
