I have a number of nRF9160 devices operating in Australia (Telstra) and have had no need to include the LwM2M library. We have recently sent a couple of devices to the USA and I'm trying to understand what the real world consequences of not including the carrier library are? Obviously the ideal solution is to add the carrier library to our firmware, but I'd like to do that OTA!
When it's stated that a device on Verizon must have the carrier library to be 'certified'... does that mean it won't work at all otherwise, or? With what limitations?
For all other operators (T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.) this library appears optional, so I assume our devices would be okay as is?
