Downwards compatibility for nRF9160 modem firmware version 1.3.6

The documentation about the downwards compatibility for nRF9160 modem firmware version 1.3.6 states that only nRF Connect SDK versions 2.2.0 & 2.5.1 are supported.

Is this a documentation flaw or has support for SDK versions like 2.4.x & 2.5.0 really been dropped?

Hello,

I see here that this is in the process of being handled internally. It seems that this MFW version has mistakenly not been tested for all NCS versions yet.

Though it should now at least be cleared for 2.3.0 and 2.4.2 as well.

Hello Seran,

The ticket to do so has been lingering in the queue. I've had a talk with the responsible engineer and she let me know she will start working on this today. 

Let me know if you have other questions about the MFW vs NCS version compatibility, I can understand that this can be a bit confusing.

I noticed there is a newer compatibility chart at https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/comp_matrix_nrf9160/page/COMP/nrf9160/nrf9160_modem_fw.html This shows SDK 2.2.0 & 2.3.0 & 2.4.2 and 2.5.1 are compatible with modem firmware 1.3.6. However the newly released SDK 2.5.2 is nowhere in this compatability list! Which modem firmwares are compatible with SDK 2.5.2?
