EMC testing. DTM software/mode for Thread?

For EMC testing of Bluetooth we can use the DTM software provided by Nordic.

Are there similar controls for OpenThread (in the CLI for instance) or are the radio outputs similar enough that DTM will work?

I think you can use the Radio Test sample for this, it supports IEEE 802.15.4,

Thanks for that link. I'll have a good read. It doesn't seem to have anything specific to IEEE 802.15.4, except it advises to limit the channels in the sweep. This sample might be all we need.
If it is the case that the radio signals are close enough, then perhaps Bluetooth DTM software is applicable with it's standard interface.

I don't think you can use the DTM software for that. My reasoning behind sharing the Radio test sample was that you could use that to configure the device for a test,

OK, looking in the code I can see it has 802.15.4 specific settings:

#if CONFIG_HAS_HW_NRF_RADIO_IEEE802154

so it does work specifically with that format.
