why the current consumption is 2.5mA in my products board when i only give it a power?

Hi Nodic enginner;

Now i am using 51822 in my product. I find that there is a 2.5mA current in my board that is no firmware. The question i want to ask is that how much current is when the firmware has not loaded in my board ? Of course, in fact ,i know the quiescent current of other components in my board. But the 2.5mA is too big . So i doubt something about 51822...

Hi,

The device is blank when delivered (everything is 0xFFFFFFFF), and the CPU Core will by-design try to load it's vector table (RESET_HANDLER = 0x00000004) and it's initial stack pointer (located at address 0x00000000). Since both of these are blank, it will go into a fault state (executing CPU, running from RAM).
