AT+COPS=? only returning nb-iot networks (act 9) or only lte-m networks (act 7)

Hello,

if i issue command "AT+COPS=?" in my thingy91, i obtain a result of three networks with nb-iot act (9). But, if i issue the same comamnd in my dk9160, i only get one network with lte-m act (7). The command sequence before the at+cops=? command is the same (they use the same firmware).

this is the commands that i send before the at+cops?:

"AT+CFUN=44"
"AT%%XSYSTEMMODE=1,1,0,0"
"AT%%XBANDLOCK=1,"10000000000010000100"
"AT+CGDCONT=0,"IPV4V6","m2m.public.nl""
"AT+CFUN=1"
"AT+COPS=?"

the modem fw version is the same, 1.3.5

Do you know what i might be doing wrong?

As reference, this is what i obtain on the thingy91:

at+cops=?

+COPS: (1,"","","22201",9),(1,"","","22288",9),(2,"","","22210",9)

with the dk9160, i obtain:

at+cops=?

+COPS: (2,"","","22210",7)


i would expect to obtain something like:

+COPS: (1,"","","22201",9),(1,"","","22288",9),(2,"","","22210",9),(2,"","","22210",7)

This is the intended behaviour.

When the modem is camped on a cell and properly registered, the manual search is done only in the current system. Scanning the other system would cause the modem to lose connection to the network, and it would not be able to receive paging from the network while scanning the other system.

We will update the documentation to make this clear.
