We are currently working on a project that involves integrating the NRF5340 MCU. After reviewing the MCU datasheet and HW design guidelines, we noticed that the RF output is not matched to 50 ohms. We would like to seek clarification and guidance on the following:
Impedance Matching: Could you please confirm whether the RF output of the NRF5340 MCU is matched to 50 ohms?
Need for Matching Circuit: If the RF output is not matched to 50 ohms, could you provide guidance on whether a matching circuit is required?
Suggested Matching Circuit: If a matching circuit is necessary, could you suggest a suitable matching circuit to achieve the desired 50-ohm impedance matching?
we are looking to simulate the layout accuracy of the NRF5340 MCU's RF section. To enhance the simulation accuracy, we are seeking information on the RF section's output characteristics, specifically the Power Amplifier's output impedance parameters (S-parameters or Z-parameters).
Could you please provide us with the relevant information on the Power Amplifier's output impedance parameters? Additionally, any details on the PCB layout considerations related to the RF section would be highly beneficial for our simulation efforts.
