How to get BLE device listed under iOS "Bluetooth Devices"

Dear Nordic Support,

I am building a sensor that measures acceleration and temperature, using the NRF Connect SDK. The sensor communicates through BLE and has some standard services, such as Device Information and Battery Service.

I would like to pair it to an iPhone using the Bluetooth Devices listed under iOS. However, no matter what I do, I can't seem to be able to get my sensor listed. In Android smartphones I have no such issues.

Can you clarify if this is possible and if so, provide some assistance?

As far as I know Apple iOs doesn't show BLE devices in their standard Settings - Bluetooth window.

You can try a seperate Application to connect to your custom BLE device.

Perhaps, nRF Connect for iOs should meet your requirements:

Thank you. My understanding is also that iOS is picky of which devices it shows. I have a custom App for the product, so I don't need to use the nRF Connect. I just wanted that the users would be able to see and pair the device directly with the iOS Bluetooth GUI.

I just wanted to query the community to see if anyone had some information.
