nRF52840 connect LCD 16x2

Hello,

I'm trying to use a 16x2 LCD from MIDAS displays. It's the component MC21605DC6W-BNMLW-V2. I'm using SES with the nRF5 SDK. 

I don't really know how to start so I tried looking for other projects on the forum or in the examples provided by the SDK. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find enough informations to start this project. Given that this screen use the ST7066U specification, I don't know if somebody tried a projecct using this kind of specification.

I'm really sorry, I'm a total beginner so if you could just show me some steps to follow to at least start I would be more than thankfull.

According to a quick search the ST7066U should be compatible with the HD44780. (https://focuslcds.com/lcd-resources/character-lcd-controller-compatibility-st7066/)
