Testing periodic advertising

I am using nRF Connect fro Desktop Bluetooth Low Energy Standalone v4.0.4 with a Dongle USB nRF52840.

I can see my device when Legacy Advertising is enabled, but if I only enable Periodic advertising the device is not visible.

Is there a way to view Periodic advertising and its content with the desktop application?

Extended advertising can be correctly displayed on the nRF Connect App using a Samsung S20+.

Hi,

nRF Connect For Desktop does not support extended advertising which is used by the Periodic advertising sample. You can try the mobile app, depending on your phone, it should support it,

Seem to be a big short coming of the tool at this point.
