Clarification on Component Compatibility and Antenna Tuning Circuit for nRF5340 CSP Package

In this regard, we have a few queries and would greatly appreciate your assistance in clarifying them.

We are using the following components in our design: nRF5340 CSP package
Jonson Filter Component (PN# 2450FM05A0045001T)
Antenna Connector: CONMHF4-SMD-G-T
Antenna : ANT-2.4-FPC-SAH50M4

Could you please confirm the compatibility of these components with the nRF5340 CSP package? Are there any specific considerations or recommendations for their usage with this package?

Antenna Tuning Circuit:
The term "Antenna tuning circuit" has been mentioned in our discussions. Could you provide more insights into the requirements and considerations for the antenna tuning circuit in conjunction with the nRF5340 CSP package?

We have prepared the below Attached diagram representing our RF path design.
This diagram outlines the connectivity from the nRF5340 CSP package to the Antenna (Patch antenna) through various components.
We would like your expert opinion on this representation to ensure that our design aligns with the recommended practices.

As you see your other case,  Inquiry Regarding Matching Circuitry for nRF5340 Antenna Impedance , this filter is suitable for the nRF5340 CSP package. Please refer to the datasheet of the filter for the layput and placement of the filter.

Since you're using a antenna connector and an external antenna, there's no more antenna matching that can be done on the PCB. Place the connector close to the output pin of the filter.

Just to confirm, can the filter component PN# 2450FM05A0045001T replace the antenna tuning components like inductors and capacitors in the antenna matching circuitry?

Additionally, if we use this filter component with the NRF5340-CLAA (V1.3) SoC, is it compatible and suitable? Could you please confirm this from your end?

If we use the filter component, would we still need to place additional components for the antenna tuning circuit, such as inductors and capacitors on the antenna pin, as indicated in the datasheet?

Your guidance on these points will be highly appreciated.

Yes, the filter will replace the matcing network

You don't need any additional antenna tuning components since you are using an external antenna. Any tunign is done on the antenna itself.
