Difference between nrfjprog --recover and nrfjprog --eraseall

Hi,

Reading the --help text from nrfjprog version: 10.19.0:

--eraseall  Erases all user available program flash memory and the UICR page...

 --recover  Erases all user available non-volatile memory and disables..

My question is simple: is there any difference between "all user available program flash memory and the UICR page" and "all user available non-volatile memory"

Hi Erik,

 

The difference is that --eraseall does not disable readback protection.

If readback protection on nRF53/nRF52 is enabled, --recover must be used.
