nrf9160 LiPo Powered, Minimum Input Voltage Requirement

Hello,

I am wondering if it is feasible to directly power the nrf9160 from a LiPo battery (3.0 - 4.2v) Section 2.1.2 of the Hardware Design Guidelines Seems to suggest that a minimum input of 3.1V is required to meet the 3GPP spec, but it also seems to suggest a minimum of 3.3V with a link to the product spec. I have not been able to find a reference in the product spec to the minimum 3.3V spec mentioned in the hardware design guidelines.

So is the minimum 3.1V or 3.3V? (Where in the product spec can this information be found?)

If running at 3.1V what if any performance degradation can be expected?

 3GPP compliance requires a minimum of 3.1 V and product specifications RF parameters, which exceed 3GPP requirements, require a minimum of 3.3 V. 

The battery will be very close to empty at 3.1 V so the time spent here will be short so it no problem to power the nRF9160 from a LiPo battery.
