The terminal used must send a DTR signal in order to configure the UART Interface MCU pins

We are trying to communicate to NRF51422 through PC using UART communication. But the programs works fine with nRF51822 Dongle and DK. But it does not works with another dongle and DK with nRF51422. Is it require to send DTR signal from PC to configure UART. Then How to send DTR to dongle or DK. When I see the schematics of Dongle, DTR is no where connected.

The DTR signal should be sent through the virtual com port, to the interface MCU (Segger chip).

I use Termite as a terminal, to send a DTR signal with it, got to settings and check Status LEDs in Plug-ins window. Now a clickable DTR LED should appear. Like this:
