PC Tool for PER testing

Hi, is there a PC based tool that can be used for PER testing? I can use the Direct Test Mode tool, however, there is no way to only send a known number of packets e.g. 100 or 1000. The transmitter keeps sending packets, hence not able to calculate PER. I believe this should be a pretty standard request for HW testing.

Hi

We don't have a specific PC tool for it, but the Radio Test sample project in the nRF Connect SDK should be fine to use for this with a serial terminal: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/peripheral/radio_test/README.html 

You can use the start_tx_modulated_carrier with the number of packets to decide yourself what size packets are.
