Hi Bruce,
What is your nRF Connect for VSCode extension version as well as VSCode version?
Regards,
Priyanka
I reinstalled and still have the same issue.
Only 2 choices in the dropdown for Create a new application
Hi Bruce,
That looks strange as I have the same versions and I do have the "Copy a sample" option. I have reported this to the developers.
Could you tell me which OS you are working on?
-Priyanka
Windows 10
Hi Bruce,
Do you have the v2.6.0 SDK as well as toolchain both downloaded? If not, please try this.

SDK 2.60
Toolchain 2.4.3
Hi Bruce,
As mentioned in my previous comment, please update your Toolchain too, to the latest version.
-Priyanka
What is the latest tool chain version?
If you go to the Toolchain Manager in the nRF Connect for Desktop application, you can download the latest SDK versions and the toolchains of the same version are also automatically downloaded.
And if you are downloading using the VSCode extension, please click the Manage SDKs -> install SDKs and select v2.6.0 and after that, select Manage Toolchains -> Install toolchains and select v2.6.0:

Hi, was this ever solved? I'm getting the exact same issue. SDK 2.9.1 Windows 11. Tried with previous versions as well. The correct options show up only when the SDK is added to the workspace, such as when opening VS Code directly from nRF Connect Desktop.
